Overview:

Purpose:  The Clinical Event Project Coordinator (CEPC) primary responsibility is to provide the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) and Regional Clinical Vice Presidents (RCVPs) with training event development and logistical support.  The CEPC is responsible for coordinating clinical training programs for the entire DentalOne Partners network of affiliated practices under the direction of the CCO. Your ability to have a creative approach to how programs and presentations are delivered most effectively will differentiate you from the crowd!

The CEPC works with the RCVPs and field management with logistical support of clinincal trainings, new product/procedure launches, and a variety of other educational events to drive clinical training and development within the organization.  This position consults and collaborates with external vendors and Operational leadership (Chief Operating Officer, CCO, RVPs, and Senior Leaders of Operations) and provides detailed logistical and scheduling oversight to help meet the educational goals of the clinical department and the organization as a whole. In addition, the CEPC provides scheduling management for the COO and RCVPs and coordinate vendor relationships.   The position is expected to represent the company’s best interest while maintaining successful partnerships and driving performance.

Travel is required in this role.  


Qualifications:

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in management, business, or related field
  • 2-4 years Project management experience preferred
  • 2 years dental or healthcare experience preferred, but not required
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft – advanced level required)
  • Highly organized, self-driven and results-oriented
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, tasks and competing priorities with ease and a positive demeanor
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Diplomatic, influential and positive demeanor and outlook
  • Strong work ethic
  • Accepts responsibility and accountability for required objective
  • Confidentiality and high integrity required

 

Work environment/Conditions:

  • Fast paced office environment
  • Travel for necessary events

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

  • Manage project plan/roll out process
  • Create Powerpoint presentations based on data gathered from Clinical Leadership
  • Ensure target due dates/deadlines are not missed
  • Manage tasks involving multiple departments/people (Procurement, Finance, Legal, IT, Operations, Learning and Development, Vendors.)
  • Assist and manage the development of training content (Implementation Guides, Hot Sheets, Surveys, Tests- if applicable)
  • Coordinate logistics for clinical trainings
  • Meet and coordinate with vendors
  • Set up venues/remote locations
  • Communicate logistics to training facilitators and attendees
  • Manage training attendance
  • Manage CE certificates/credits
