Q: Why did you choose to join the DentalOne family? And what sets DentalOne apart from other organizations?
A: A great recruiter and a time for great change. DentalOne focuses on the need to help others.
Q: What three words would you use to describe your role?
A: Exciting, challenging and inspirational.
Q: As a leader, how do you keep your team motivated and excited about providing top-notch patient care?
A: I always provide my team members with in-the-moment feedback and any new information I find out. We also have daily huddles where I gather their intake.
Q: What advice would you give to others who are considering accepting a position as an Operations Leader with DentalOne?
A: It’s the toughest yet most rewarding job. You get out of it what you put into it, and it’s all about making the patients happy and comfortable.
Q: What’s been your most memorable moment while working for DentalOne?
A: My first 2 weeks in training and earning the Operations Leader of the Year award in my market in 2015.
Q: What makes your team unique?
A: My team knows how to dive in, create moments and learn on the fly. We understand that it’s about the patients and not us.
Q: If you had to describe your team in one word, what would it be and why?
A: Resourceful. At DentalWorks Medina, we not only service our patients in a professional manner, but we do it with sincerity and utmost positivity. We genuinely care about our patients.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: My team, hands down.
Q: What is your motto or personal mantra and why?
A: I believe real winners in life are the people who look at every situation with an expectation that they can make it work or make it better. It’s the truth. Why settle?! I don’t settle.
Q: What do our patient pillars (schedule, wallet and patient friendly) mean to you?
A: Our patients are our friends and family. That’s it. We treat them just as that. Nothing else matters, and everything else will fall into place if we believe this.
