Q: How long have you been a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)?
A: I have been practicing dental hygiene for 14 years.
Q: How long have you worked at DentalWorks?
A: I have been with DentalWorks for two years.
Q: What is ONE takeaway tip you would give patients that they should know about dental hygiene?
A: Dental floss is your best friend when it comes to optimal dental health.

Q: What’s something you’ve been meaning to try but just haven’t gotten around to?
A: I want to ride my bike 64 miles on the tow path from Massillon, Ohio to Cleveland, Ohio.
Q: What are you most likely to become famous for?
A: I would be famous for rapping “Ice Ice Baby” by Vanilla Ice.
Q: What amazing thing did you do that no one was around to see?
A: I bought an elderly lady an Easter ham while standing in line at Wal-Mart. She couldn’t afford it.
Brief bio: Janet Kerns graduated from Cuyahoga Community College in 2003 with an associate degree of applied science in dental hygiene. She has been a practicing dental hygienist for 14 years and spent 11 of those years in an office that specialized in periodontics. She has been with DentalWorks for two years now, and helped to open the new location in Stow, Ohio. She has successfully maintained a strong soft tissue management program within her office, and has developed an unbreakable, trusting report with her patients.
