Let’s celebrate National Dental Hygiene Month! Every Tuesday in October we will spotlight a hygienist who always achieves great results and inspires his or her peers. The chosen hygienists were selected by the Regional Hygiene Directors: Edgar Lucero (East region), Sarai Puente (West region) and Jane Weisman (North Carolina).

Brief bio: Rachel Minton joined DentalOne Partners in 2004, and has been practicing for 14 years. She enjoys the opportunity to provide education and comprehensive care for her patients. Rachel finds it very rewarding to impact so many lives and smiles; seeing the patient’s changes, before and after, is her favorite part about being a hygienist. On a personal note, Rachel was raised in a small town in the western part of North Carolina, but currently resides just outside of Winston-Salem. She and her husband, Chad, were high school sweethearts and have been married for 15 wonderful years. They are blessed with four amazing children; Rebekah age 12, Ethan age 11, Madelyn age 8 and Brayden age 5. Rachel and Chad are very active with their kids’ academics and athletics. They believe it is very important to be active, stay involved and give back to their community. In her downtime, (like there is any), she enjoys traveling and simply relaxing with her family.
