Q: Why did you choose to join the DentalOne family? And what sets DentalOne apart from other organizations?
A: For me, the choice was simple. After interviewing and seeing the company values, I knew I wanted to be a part of a major transition in dentistry. DentalOne is unique in its ability to allow administrative work to be conducted by those with a business acumen, so clinicians can provide the proper services to our patients.
Q: What three words would you use to describe your role?
A: Motivator, liaison and team member.
Q: As a leader, how do you keep your team motivated and excited about providing top-notch patient care?
A: As a leader, I believe in honest communication, being respectful, working as part of the team and staying true to core beliefs. This has helped my team members truly enjoy working together, and they share that joy with our patients!!
Q: What advice would you give to others who are considering accepting a position as an Operations Leader with DentalOne?
A: The best advice I can give to others who are considering a position as a dental practice manager is to treat others as you wish to be treated, believe in your expertise and fight every day to reach your personal best!
Q: What’s been your most memorable moment while working for DentalOne?
A: There are so many, but I think I will always remember what a great leader I have in my Director of Market Operations!! She provides me the autonomy to lead, and that is a unique gift of a leader!
Q: What makes your team unique?
A: We are crazy and fun, and we treat our patients and teammates like family!!
Q: If you had to describe your team in one word, what would it be and why?
A: Balanced. We are a diverse yet cohesive team of hardworking people who enjoy what we do and always have in mind why we are doing it!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The people. I love my patients and team. Laughing with them makes my day!
Q: What is your motto or personal mantra and why?
A: Failure is not an option!! I love that motto because life gets tough, but you have to keep going!!! You must make the most of each situation.
