Leaders Grown From Within

Senior Vice President of Operations Melissa Marquez:

I am thrilled to announce the promotion of Kim Gomez to DMO of the Austin/San Antonio markets, where she replaces Debby Maxson who has accepted the role of Director of Specialty for the West! They have both exemplified the traits of true leaders and are beyond deserving of the opportunity to grow their careers in a new direction.

Kim has been with DentalOne Partners for almost five years as the Operations Leader at Stillwater Dental Care in San Antonio, Texas. She has a cumulative 10 years of experience in the dental industry, having previously worked for a Community Healthcare Network where she was responsible for assisting in the management of six dental clinics and a dental mobile unit in Southwest Michigan. She also served as a Multi-Unit Manager at a private practice she helped build from the ground up. Everyone who knows Kim knows she has a true love for people, service and helping others grow.

Debby recently celebrated her two-year anniversary with DentalOne Partners, and has always shared her passion for specialty development as her “first love” in the industry. Debby’s previous roles in another organization included responsibility for a $10 Million per year orthodontic budget for 60 locations. She coordinated 18 specialty orthodontic team members and managers in her region and developed a track record of success. She is experienced in all aspects of orthodontics and specialty leadership. Her familiarity with our own systems, people and opportunities will ensure that the supported practices, specialty teams and supported providers receive the support that will be required to reach new heights over the next six months.

Debby and Kim will work closely together as they both transition into their new roles, which they will fully assume on August 16. I’m excited to see the success they will achieve as leaders in our #WestIsBest region!

Please join me in congratulating them on their promotions!
